Telecommunications infrastructure in Berga

At Cubic Estudi d’Enginyeria, we led the deployment of the new XOC node in Berga, expanding telecommunications services in the area. This integrated project covered everything from drafting the technical project to supervising the civil works and interior refurbishments, delivering a robust infrastructure for quality services in the town.

As lead engineering and site management, Cubic Estudi d’Enginyeria supervised every phase, from concept to final implementation. We focused on ensuring each stage met the most demanding technical standards, using advanced technologies and cutting-edge engineering methodologies to overcome technical challenges and meet established timelines.

Scope of the project

Detailed, technical delivery of the fibre-optic roll-out

The project included the construction of more than 200 metres of new trenching and the laying of around 500 metres of fibre-optic cable, designed to provide an efficient, reliable connectivity solution in Berga. This work required meticulous planning and thorough coordination with several local entities and contractors, ensuring efficient delivery and minimising any negative impact during installation. Cubic Estudi d’Enginyeria supervises the whole project, covering project drafting, exterior civil works, interior refurbishments and the management of the necessary permits.
